"I had an eventful stay that was less than ideal but the staff gave excellent service and they worked to make it right.
First, I had trouble at check-in, the front desk couldn’t find my reservation but Sarah helped a ton by calling Hotels.com for me and we got it figured out. I don’t think it was the property’s fault but they took action to help, and gave me free breakfast for the trouble.
Then, I woke up the first morning of my 2-night stay and the side table and desk were COVERED in ants. Not just a few, like 100. The room I was in had 2 extra doors, like for adjoining rooms and I think they made their way in one of them closer to the outside wall.
The front desk helped me move to a different room (not as nice, the room I was in had a fridge and a sink and more of a little kitchen area) and they were kind and helpful. Later the manager called me and helped me get a fridge for my new room, they comped my pet fee (I was traveling with my cat) and they gave me another certificate to cover my dinner at the hotel restaurant, Gander.
The service at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. The breakfast buffet food was typical hot hotel breakfast - eggs, sausage, potatoes fruit cereal etc. It was good quality and delicious. I loved that they brought you a whole carafe of coffee for the table (I was by myself so lots of coffee for me!)
Dinner was great and the bartender was a sweet, great server who had good menu advice and poured good drinks! Overall, it was a good stay."
"The hotel staff Zeke was great, he was dealing with another issue when we arrived but he was great. However I was unaware the restaurant was shut down at booking, no breakfast. Our hotel room did not appear to be cleaned in the bathroom.
There was trash everywhere and bins full and it did appear one staff member was there the entire time by themselves. The pictures on this showing did not give what I anticipated to be a beautiful location. The landscaping was completely overgrown. A dirty diaper just laying the the parking lot. Aside from zeke whom did great the hotel itself is not one I’ll return too. "
