"I'd rate this 4 1/2 stars-- a great place to get away in the mountains and with beautiful views, but must keep in mind that you are getting a mountain cabin so without some of the luxuries. The good: a view to kill for, and with the sun and clouds turning it into constantly changing panorama; 15 minutes from hiking; very clean and comfortable; two very comfortable queen beds. "The cabin was reasonably priced and really convenient to visit the Great Smoky Mountains, followed by shoppers and dining near Sylva. The beds were comfortable, and the view of the creek outside the cabin was very pleasant to picnic next to."

"The Kudzu Cabin is on the owners property next to their home. The owners were amazing and very responsive. The cabin was charming, clean and very comfortable. Will stay there again if in Sylva!"

"If we could give zero stars, we would. Our stay was a disaster. On the first night, we discovered a serious gas leak, requiring us to call the fire department. After hours of dealing with the issue, they shut off the gas and confirmed that the water heater needed inspection. The following morning, the heater malfunctioned again, and we had to shut off the main gas entirely as per the fire department, leaving us without hot water, heat, or the ability to cook for the rest of our stay. "Everything was absolutely adorable, retro with a lot of class. You could tell the owners really cared about their property and took beautiful care of it. It was absolutely clean, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, the fans in every room to the old-fashioned, but there was also an air conditioner so, they were really just for a little added comfort. Coffee pot brewed, great coffee, and the place was spotless."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay and loved the cabin. A little disappointed there was no recliner to relax in, but we were comfortable on the couch. This cabin is close to the Outpost (clubhouse) and most of the activities. We visited in the off-season, so there were very few people around. A lot of places were closed in Cashiers and Highlands, so not a lot of dining options. But the places we did eat at had very good food, (breakfast at the Blue Bike Cafe in Highlands is a must).
