"We stayed here based on price and location. We were extremely pleased with this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean,quiet, and dark at night. The only minor issue ( and I hesitate to call it an issue because it really wasn't), was the paint needs refreshing in the rooms. We highly recommend Best Way Inn, and will gladly stay here again when we are in Madison!"

"The night before we stayed here, we stayed in another small local motel but was not impressed with what was supposed to be an excellent rating. This property was very nice. The gentleman that seemed like he did everything was very nice. We slept well, the property was very clean, and the room was very nicely finished out. It looked like had not been too long since they had been remodeled. We got a good night's sleep and got back on the road with no problems."

However it is very old- historical- general upkeep is lacking chipped fury- thresholds damaged ceilings near vents dirty/ over all updates would go along way! Shower was great parking wasn’t bad steep narrow winding drive to get up to I would not attempt in the winter. Over all we would stay again as clean was most important"

"Overall, the hotel was fine, rooms were clean and spacious. Little hard to get the temperature regulated in the room. Also, the pool was really small, and the one time I went to use it, there was a family with two kids who were constantly jumping in and out."

"I always stay at Holiday Inn Express, my #1 choice of hotels. I only really have 2 things about the room we were in. The floor could've been cleaner, it felt a little sticky & the worst thing was the PLUG INS!!!!!! They were horrible. We couldn't even keep anything plugged in the outlets or the USB ports. Other than than, it was good."
