Farmstay in Kendall County

"I’m still confused as to why we have to pay an additional $10 for parking when we are already paying to stay on your private property. I know it’s not for extra security. As someone’s truck got broken into Friday night. "

"We had a great 3 nights of vacation at this property. My 5yr old daughter had a blast enjoying the lazy river and the warm pool, and so did I! It was great to have the pool set in a natural setting under trees, etc - beautiful experience. The lagoon was great too. I liked that they put together so many activities, especially for kids, and shared an itinerary of events for the whole week - it made it so much easier for us to plan our days. The room itself was very comfortable…we enjoyed the balcony with views of the greenery around. We had a wonderful lunch at the Springhouse Cafe one of the days. Since we were vegetarians we didn’t bother much with the other restaurants. But within 10-15 mins driving distance there were a few good options. I loved that all the staff badges show where they were from. I thought that was a great touch and allowed for warm conversations and made the interactions personable! Overall, it is an excellent property. It is a no-brainer to stay here especially if you have kids. We would gladly recommend this to anyone, amd would love to come back here!"

"Gym needs radical improvement. Not enough equipment. Cleaning staff did not clean room as thoroughly as one would expect. Sink and surrounding area untouched, and debris left on floor. "

"This property is not aesthetically appeasing and doesn’t look anything like the photos online. The area and neighborhood is not the best location. The hotel staff even lets homeless in to come in and eat and sit with the guest. The outside doors do not stay locked. Anyone can come into this hotel. You can tell that renovations were just done recently, but it’s a lot of patchwork. Our first room the AC did not work and we tried to give it a chance, but the clerk knew the AC wasn’t working when he put us in that room because he didn’t flinch or rebuttal when I told him the AC was not working, so he switched the room next-door. I barricaded my door is just to feel safe and that hotel."
