Because Econo Lodges are privately owned franchises, quality varies, and it’s clear this owner cuts every corner possible. The room looks nothing like the advertised photos and doesn't even have a proper coat closet. Worse, the sheets were stained and had hair left under them—yet the owner's only excuse was that he and his wife personally changed them. There were also noticeable spider webs and dust...

"The room was not clean the hot water was missing no toilet paper. Had to clean the jetted tub before use other people's pupic cares in the bathroom. No toilet paper. The towels had more holes than swiss cheese.The bedding was questionable to be clean the beding did not fit this motel could be nice if it was fixed, and they got new towels and betting"

"A good way to start is it is not the Rich Carlton but then again you’re not paying for it either. It is clean. It is bug and critter free. If you’re just looking for an overnight, you really can’t beat this deal. The family is also friendly if there is any complaint at all, it is the road out front is a little noisy so keep that in mind but a great one nighter."

"The reservation was a total screw up/disaster. I arrived and found that the office was locked up at 6:06pm and a sign saying all rooms sold out. No one was there. I called a number for the motel that I found online. The person said that there was no reservation in my name. I gave the itinerary number you supplied. The person continued to say there was no reservation. I don’t know if a problem was on your end or the motel end. It was a TERRIBLE experience!!!"
