"This place was just as described on the website. It was clean, easy to access, and had the extras that made it a step above other places we have rented. There was a gift bag and note on the kitchen table, and constant reminders in every room that told us we were welcome. Perhaps the best surprise in the house was the container of deer corn on the top of the fridge that our daughter emptied feeding the 8-10 deer who came to visit each evening. "Before the stay, the owner was contacted, but no answer. Upon arrival, there was confusion of which cabin was the one we were staying. It is behind the main house, not as in the description. The first night we stayed home for dinner, we needed a can opener, but there was none, dirty dishes were also pulled out of the cabinet. Two rolls of toilet paper were all we had for five people for two and a half days. (the owner was nice, but called two days into the stay to bring a can opener and extra...

"This cabin was comfortable, clean and cozy. The kitchen is really more of a kitchenette and the utensils, dishes etc. are rather a hodgepodge of items. However, we made do, and it didn't really affect our stay. (Except there was only one wine glass.) There is a grill and firepit outside which was convenient. We both enjoyed the large front porch which has a swing and is very relaxing. The best feature was the location, close to town but very secluded within the forest. "
