Cottages in Madison County

"Perfectly suited for a trip for two in a remote mountain escape. We enjoyed a quiet peaceful stay with the basic necessities."

"Very nice place to stay. Ice maker was great. Only complaint was the hot water was tepid; it was warm but wouldn’t get hot. The beds were comfortable. We would stay again. Highly recommend. "

"The lock to get the key took about 10 trys. After that it was laid back, comfortable. Quite. Like being in a simple farm house. It was exactly the thing we needed. River was across the street. We caught fish, enjoyed the town. Perfect for us."

"Awesome stay in the mountains of NC. 4wd is a requirement for the driveway. Only problem we had was internet access, but that helped my family to unplug and enjoy being where we were located."

"Beautifully set up cozy get away. Short walk into town. Loved the quiet area. Great porch to sit out and enjoy nature."

"It was a lovely and tidy cottage. Everything you need is right there! We love having a grill and hot tub as well. We will be returning in the fall."

Coms was great and the house was fantastic!! Gorgeous views from the balcony and hot tub. We will definitely return!"

"The cabin was comfortable but not fancy. I enjoyed sitting by the babbling creek and listening to the babbling voices of the river. One negative was that the toilet was really low. That should be updated. The owners stopped by to say hi and welcome us. Invited us to a pig roast at the fire station. Thank you!"

"I really sincerely want to give a great review but it bothers me to do so. We drove from Florida and 3 hours before arriving we were told that our account had been flagged for payment. We called the bank and they confirmed that the money was taken out. I was told that I would receive a call back in an hour, 2 hours and no call.
