"Extremely charming option for a friendly, clean and comfortable stay. It sure beat the more pricey options in Frostburg and Cumberland. My morning walk and delicious breakfast in the main building provided a wonderful history lesson about the National Road. Although we were only passing through we truly enjoyed our stay and took with us some delicious goodies from the in house bakery that is part of the restaurant. "

"We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to...
