"We appreciated the hotel owner so much. Our transmission went out in our truck and we were stranded with no way to get anywhere. There were no options such as Uber or taxi or even public transportation. The closest Enterprise car rental that actually had the car we needed was 30 minutes away, but we had no way to get there. He made sure that we got there to get a car rented so that we would not be stranded. 100% appreciated all of the staff at this hotel!"

"This hotel was great! It was clean, well maintained and was a great little pitstop. Katrice at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She was super kind when we checked in and got us all squared away. She was a smiling face again first thing in the morning and was super helpful with all my questions and requests. We would definitely stay here again!"

"My family and I had to evacuate from Ft. Morgan beach because of Hurricane Isaias and we’re fortunate to find availability here. The hotel was fully booked, which was an unusual occurrence for this property, but the staff jumped into action and hustled hard to accommodate everyone. The Owner, Jackie and the front desk, and the other young lady at the front desk were the best and were available for whatever we needed. We could not have asked for better people to help us out during this stressful time. The property does not have a generator (which the owner did disclose when I asked) and the electricity went out overnight but the staff were there early the next morning to make sure that everything was taken care of for the guests. The hotel did sustain some roof and other minimal damage, My 4-year-old daughter did not even want to leave because she LOVED the waffles. Was the property perfect? No. But did the owner and staff more than make up for this? Absolutely! There were 5 of us total (4 adults and 1 child) and the suite we rented provided a great amount of space for us to hunker down and ride out the storm. Thank you very much to all of you for providing a safe place for my family during this time. Your willingness to serve and care for people was seen and far outweighed any of the imperfections that the property may have."
