Hotel Rose
10/10 Excellent
"Comfy bed and clean. Nice place!"

Baymont by Wyndham Muskegon
8/10 Good
"Very tiny bathroom, but not a deal breaker. I have been in other Baymont hotels and the breakfast was much better, other than these two minor issues I enjoyed my stay."

Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North
6/10 Okay
"Hot tub was closed down, then the tub drain in our room was broken. Staff member was very helpful to try to fix it, finally had us move to another room and that room the bathroom sink drain would back up and drain very slowly. Overall place needs some maintenance improvements."

Travelodge by Wyndham Muskegon
10/10 Excellent
"You might want to bring extra hand towels as the locals enjoy partaking in your personals. Also watch where you step ,there are obstacles everywhere."

Quality Inn & Suites Big Rapids near University
8/10 Good
"The person who checked me in was very nice and helpful. the person who checked me out not so much. The room was swept and clean. The beds were made. the sheets were clean, but I don't know they had been changed. The covers had an odor to them from the middle down to the foot or at least the top cover did. Again, not sure they were changed so I sprayed Lysol on the beds. The shampoo & conditioner and lotion were like I had never seen, very stylish but empty. All towels & washcloths and hand towels were clean and a plenty. We had a long trip, and still had more travel so I didn't bother to call the front desk."

Shoreline Inn & Conference Center, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great views of Muskegon lake. Our room was unique. Had a double bed right as you walk in the door. Then a bathroom that divided the room, with a king bed by the sliding patio doors. Lots of room and 2 dressers and tvs. Only thing I didn’t like, no chair or table. Other smaller rooms had table and chairs. Overall it is an awesome hotel and was very pleased with the experience."

Tru By Hilton Comstock Park Grand Rapids
2/10 Terrible
"I booked this property thru Expedia-DO NOT DO THIS!!! I got to the property and did not have a room which I had already paid for in advance!!! To change the reservation I was charged a LARGE fee and Expedia had false advertising free change/cancellation! They do allow the change but claim TRU charges a fee of so basically my 2 night stay changed to 1 night for same price as 2 nights! It was a legit nightmare. Then I get there and they don't have me down for a room and are sold out. So I pull up my confirmation and by some weird miracle they find a King room for 3 of us, but we made due. There was a smell in the room like old smoke, bed was ok, room is TINY!!!! Pool is small, staff did try to be helpful but no one refunded anything or offered anything. I also had to sit on the phone with EXPEDIA for over an hour to get them to "move the funds paid to the hotel" to cover the room. It was all such a joke and needless to say I would never ever ever deal with EXPEDIA again. And Tru obviously partners with them and there is an issue there too! Comfort Suites next door was much nicer and big rooms!!!!"

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Big Rapids, MI

"I will stay again. I found it convenient and just a pleasant experience."

Holiday Inn Grand Haven-Spring Lake by IHG
6/10 Okay
"The staff we interacted with were uniformly helpful and very pleasant. They helped counter some of the frustration from the poor design of the hotel. The design issues weren’t terrible, just frustrating; things like shower curtains not reaching the top of the tub which led to wet floors, the sink faucet being set so close to the edge of the sink that it was impossible to use it without flooding the back of the sink, and very odd design in the room. The latter was notable for the location of the tv, the location of a lamp which blocked the view of a painting, and most problematic, the location of the bedside lamps which were placed too far from the beds to make it possible to use the lamps to read in bed.
Again, the friendliness of the staff did help mitigate the annoying aspects of the hotel design."
