"The check-in process was seamless and the host was communicative. The property has a lot of character and style, but it is in definite need of upgrades. There was peeling paint on the ceilings and walls and in the claw-foot tub. The toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall and not been repaired, etc. There was garbage just inside the front gate. And some basic amenities would have been welcome. There were no paper towels or napkins in the kitchen, and there was a keurig machine but no pods. "
