"This hotel is badly in need of maintenance and perhaps new management. The stairway carpets looked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks and must have been over 10 years old. "My stay at El Conquistador was fabulous from the moment I arrived. The staff that checked us in were attentive and informative. One thing to keep in mind is that the nearest parking lot may not be located close to your room, requiring a bit of a walk.
