"The property was beautiful. I would entertain staying in a different room, but we did not have a bathroom in our room so we had to walk across the way in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. You could hear every conversation and the unit above us was very loud. Just be ready for a 530am or 6am wake up call."

"Beautiful property, great location. On site bar/restaurant is wonderful, with plenty of options (get the chicken wings and the Lava Flow) and local live entertainment that doesn't disppoint!! The pools and hot tub is very nice and spacious. Parking can be a bit tight but the amenities and room sizes def are worth the walk. Will be back next year!!"

"The hotel is dated and need full renovation. The location is good but in some areas they allow outside people to use the amenities. I had a late fight leaving Kona 9:55pm and asked for a possible extension of my stay willing to pay additional charge for the extra hours. Basically they said they were totally booked so I need to pay full day charge to stay an extra 5 hours in my room. It was a rip-off! Then, I found out that the hotel was not fully booked like they said. Front desk staff was not friendly. Also, they wrongly charged me $73.30 for a restaurant meal. Trying to contact them, but nobody call me back. Daily rate too high for what you are getting back. "

"Everything here is top tier. This was my second time visiting the property and this time it was with my parents to celebrate my dad’s birthday. The pools and the gym facilities are among the many exceptional features on this property. If you’re like me and like to incorporate some fitness during your getaway, this is the place. Breakfast buffet at Ulu was always something to look forward to and their dinner service was amazing as well. Thank you to all staff who made this a very memorable experience for my parents and I. And a very special thank you to the resort manager, Chad, who personally came by at dinner to say hello, chat briefly, and wish my dad a happy birthday. All class. Can’t wait for our return!"
