The room was spotless, roomy, and supplied with updated features. Large flatscreen, plenty of USBs, touch controls, etc. Breakfast was well done with plenty of variety. Coffee machines offered any kind you’d want. Staff was exceptional!!! Especially Alicia, who went well beyond expected actions to assist us in changing plans and ensuring complications were eliminated.

NIce hotel in Kaiserslautern

Nice Hotel. The staff was very friendly. Ayesha (sp? Was super helpful, and friendly offering restaurant suggestions for our group. Very clean, and I LOVE the heated bathroom floor!! My ONLY complaint was it didn’t offer a lot of things nearby. For the price, an excellent value.

Not the best hotel in the area for amenities but it is clean and safe with easy parking, lacks fridge in room , lacks American tv channels and breakfast pretty generic otherwise probably above average for a German hotel for business trip. No gym either

Property is like new. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Parking is pay only in front of the hotel which we did not know & it was not advertised. But, there is free parking in the lot behind the hotel that they don’t tell you about until after you’re in the pay lot. Breakfast was great with good selection. I can’t speak to the location & surrounding area much because I was only there for a short overnight stay.

This hotel is typical Holiday Inn Express. Updated, very modern. Usual breakfast. But, some issues. Basically no housekeeping. You carry your trash down and give it to staff. Go to desk for toilet paper. Good for quick overnight or temporary duty. Not a vacation spot. Some of the staff are amazing, couple crabby. My biggest problem here was smoking. Everyone, including staff, stand right outside the front door. 20 people will be right under the windows talking and smoking all hours. Smoke and noise comes into the rooms. A bright note, there is a wonderful Japanese restaurant within walking distance. If you are a walker there is a really nice park, Volkspark, about a half hour walk away. The main street is within walking distance. 2nd time here.

The hotel rooms and bed are smaller compared to the IHG hotel’s Stateside. There is no microwave or iron/iron board in the rooms. The bathroom felt very tight. There were no face towels. I recommend bringing your own. The breakfast was fresh and great. There are no water fountains in the lobby area. I guess it was good for the European standard.
