The area was really quiet allowing us to relax with no worries. Only 500 metres to Melissani lake/cave also a bonus. Coastal path into Sami took around 25-30 mins at a leisurely pace. "The hotel location was good, with a stunning view and lots of restaurants nearby and a charming little town. The swimming pools were great, clean and fun. Unfortunately the hotel itself is tired, lots of little bits of maintenance, painting, fixing required. The rooms were surface clean, but not detailed. "We well enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kourkoumelata. The owner greeted us as we arrived and helped us arrange a rental car. The room was tidy and aircon was on when we arrived making the room nice and cool (it was very hot outside). Staff were very friendly. The owner went above and beyond organising for our laundry to be cleaned and even giving us an impromptu driving lesson. For a two star accomodation I was very happy with our stay and experience. "
