"I enjoyed staying at the Mount Amara, but there were a few difficulties – the hotel is very quiet because it is about 300 m away from the main road, and overlooks an open field. It was good being away from the hustle and Brussel. The main problem was that I had booked a room which had two double beds, because I was travelling with a young friend. "If the room faces the tea gardens, as ours was, the view is lovely & serene. Staff is polite, food is good, property is clean. Maintenance is poor. Mirrors were foggy, hand shower head was broken (and couldn’t be fixed even after telling them), 2nd day TV stopped broadcasting due lack of payment & no one knew what to do! "
