"An absolute gem. The private beach is much nicer than the photos, perfect for snorkelling, the two pools are great and all the amenities kept in great condition. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff always friendly. It’s probably the best hotel anywhere near this price, fully recommend!"

"Tolles Frühstück, super lecker. Sauber, gute Lage für Inseltour mit PKW. Chania ist auch zu Fuß erreichbar, gute Stunde Marsch. Ich würde das Hotel sofort wieder buchen. Das vier Sterne Hotel in dem wir danach waren, war ein Dreck dagegen. "

"We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast and coffee is perfect in the morning. The rooms were good for our large family (we had two rooms with 3 beds each) and the area is very walkable. "Had a great time staying at this lovely hotel. All the staff (reception, restaurant staff and cleaners) were all extremely pleasant and friendly. There is a mini market by the pool which is very well stocked. A bus outside the hotel takes you all the way into the centre of Chania and runs frequently. "Fabulous location , set in its own grounds so very relaxed . Stella is simply the most wonderful host , very kind , very friendly and very helpful. Our room was and remained spotless , whilst the property is maybe no new , it’s impossible to age as everything was immaculate . Great aircon and decent shower.
