"We had a wonderful time at this ryokan. We chose this inn specifically for its remote location and traditional atmosphere and were not disappointed. The hotel, outdoor onsen, and woodsy surroundings were all excellent. "Perfect hotel for a stay in Matsumoto, parking is next to the hotel, rooms are large by Japanese standards and the cafe on the ground floor has a very varied breakfast for Y1200... you may have to wait a bit to get a table as it's popular. "
