Let me start with the staff here is amazing. The history of the building is really cool. The main floor, hallways and main bathrooms are clean. The food is okay. Upon entering our room, we noticed that it was dated ( but its a super old hotel so we went with it) There was a bit too much furniture in the living room area and no tv. The mini fridge kept the drinks cool. There was a tv in the bedroom, but we like watching from the living room area...but that is our preference. The linens were all clean, the bed is super firm, so if you like that, then it was perfect for you! The lights ( of the three sets you could use in the room) only one set worked. You do get a free drink voucher with any purchase over $10. The waiter was wonderful. The breakfast was okay. It was free so i wont complain! scrambled eggs, sausages, french toast. You can also make toast, have cereal and yogurt. Juice, water, tea and coffee are all available. Go to Hello Toast across the street:) Our room was right above the weed store and bar. We are parents of 8 kids, so the music pumping until 2 am didnt bother us. The weed store, well, it helped me sleep quicker and deeper;) Not sure if i would stay here again, but it worked for while we were there! Thank you

The staff was friendly upon check in, however there was no free parking. I had to pay 20$ in a nearby lot. The bed was the worst bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. Hard as a rock. The breakfast was above the average hotel breakfast.

Sink was plugged. Moved to a smaller room, was told an upgrade. When told it was not an upgrade they did offer the room cost difference to be refunded but it took several call backs to finally get the funds returned. Breakfast was cold.

Obviously an older hotel so certainly showing its age. Paint peeling off the wall in the bathroom above the sink, the door quite battered and the wall fan in the bathroom in desperate need of a cleaning. No cover plate on the plug in behind the bed - safety hazard?? The room was overly warm and we could not find how to turn the heat down so resorted to opening the window. Alas, the taxi driver convention at the pizza parlour across the street at 3 in the morning was very annoying. The staff were great, especially in the attached pub. Breakfast was ok. And the bed was very comfortable.

I booked two bedrooms for three nights because I drive a long way need good sleep, while my son needed to study till late night. The first day I got a room with no door in between the two rooms, so the lights could affect people in the other room. The wood floor is not even flat, missing one curtain and safer not working. The noise from pub downstairs is unacceptable. The loud music and bass speaker shakes the building and windows, even noise cancelling headphone couldn’t help much. Music till 2am, then people gathered outside screaming and shouting. I couldn’t fall asleep till maybe 5am. Then I have to wake up at 6:30 to do my stuff. I talked with staff, they said they can offer a quiet room but it’s double queen which is downgrade to my booking, and doesn’t work for me. I said two rooms also ok. They said everything else is sold out. But I checked online there are still 6 rooms available that day. They told me all two bedrooms are at the same side, so will all be noisy. We are able to change room to one level up. At least this one has a door in between the rooms which helps. Again loud music till 2am, I called front desk, they said they’ll check what they can do and let me know, but never called back. No music on third night, I can finally get a night sleep. I end up getting sick after the trip, maybe related to couldn’t rest well. Otherwise cleanses is good, king size bed is comfortable. Would rate higher if no such loud noise and music.

Room was relatively clean staff were friendly. Odd smell throughout the hotel. Price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area and the location was great. Main issue is the bar downstairs blasting music until 2 am I don’t typically mind but we were staying on the top floor corner room far away from the bar and we could still feel the music vibrating the room, we decided the only remedy to this would be to go down to the bar and join in on the “fun” we got to the door and a security guard informed us is was a ticked “special event” $25 per ticket. There was a total of 4 people in the bar, we left immediately. I’m sure it’s a much more pleasant stay during the week.

Room was dirty, got 8am text to check out. Super noisy area. Was charged more than the room and not told why. No receipt sent.
