In a good location. Rooms could have been a bit cleaner. The hotel felt safe. The toilet and sink did leak, but only when you used them, had to be careful not to get wet socks when washing your hands. Overall, perfectly fine for travellers and would recommend to someone going to Kampot.

Dirty, no toilet seat, shower doesn’t work, full of black mould, holes in wall, bathroom floods. Whole hotel smells of sewerage. Staff are interested in cleaning. Rubbish piles up. Expedia should not list this place.

You get what you pay for. Cheap but tired (staff the same). Perfectly adequate if you just want a cheap place to stay and are relaxed about cleanliness and staff responsiveness to blown lightbulbs etc.

Great hotel with nice pool.
I ended up staying here 5 nights and it was perfect and clean. I enjoyed the pool every day. Swim at 12 when sun is out! I had a nice Belcony, a nice clean room, a hot shower and the location is perfect. They clean your room daily if needed and supply 2 bottles of water a day. Next time in Kampot I'll be back here!

the room was ok but they are lacking maintenace. we had no water pressure on shower for 2 different days and none on the basin all days.the sheets had holes in them every set. the recemption guy was working 24 hours a day so he was sleeping at night with all room keys left on bench so take your key. every day i had to ask for soap and water. no safe, no kettle, no mini fridge. the pool was dirty although it was swimable. just needs an update and i understand its hard as there is no tourists therefore no customers.

The room was fine. I wasn't expecting much because I was because I was out most of the time. For me it was enough because all I needed was a bed and a shower. It doesn't come with breakfast, but there are places nearby. Bring your own shampoo because they didn't give out shampoos. They do have an electric kettle on demand if you need it. It has basic items which I needed.

Perfect, in the heart of the city center
Perfect location in the heart of the city center. Bakeries, bars and restaurant close by. Possibility to rent motorbike, book tours and buses at the reception.

Fawlty Towers comes to Cambodia
Bit like the fawlty towers of Cambodia. The new manager is very efficient and friendly .so,etimes when you asked the others for something it was like you were inconveniencing them. The pools ok but n a central area near the rooms, which makes it very noisy. Many children and groups added to the noise. Also had beer stolen from the communal fridge which is locked at 10pm. Had to wake night receptionist to open fridge and let people in one night as they shut the gates about 11 am. Not a really good place for solo travellers. More a family orientated guest house where you get the feeling you have tofit in with the management / family rules and schedules. They need to remember that we are the customers . Not them. That’s why I’ve likened it to Fawlty Towers .

Excellent location - walking distance to the riverside, restaurants, minimarts, massage salons; refreshing pool; good wifi; nice clean rooms; TV with English channels; motos available for rent for $4US/day. We were in room 02, on the ground floor facing the pool. Staff have limited English but are very helpful and accommodating.

I stayed here for 4 nights. I'm a solo traveller and they gave me two twin beds. They said one room with a queen size bed would be available on the third night, but when I asked them to change the room, they said nothing is available. I then replied with "I'm not happy with what you're doing and walked out". A few minutes later, a room suddenly became available and they switched me to that room. Considering it's rainy season, I paid $18US for a room through hotels.com as I booked it in advance. However, I found out that rooms in the area, with AC and hot water, could go as low as $8 US. On a brighter note, the staff, a young male and his younger brother were very helpful, the boy even took out a huge cockroach out of my room when I found one crawling on my floor.

A lovely hotel, 1 minute walk from the river, 3 minute walk to the center of town. Staff were very helpful, room exceptionally good value for money. Could not fault it!

Not ce place , but a few annoying maintenance issues... like couldn’t get hot water to work, a high screeching bathroom fan, and 3 or 4 unrepoaced bulbs. The pool right outside the room was great for the kids, but everyone from the floors above used your space in front of your appartment, whilst swimming...beds very hard in em 5. But overall. Not to bad..for a quick nights stay

No frills place to stay with small pool
For the price we payed I did not expect the Hilton. Our ground floor unit had direct access to the pool. Another room we stayed in was a bright corner room on the second floor. Access to this room was not particular picturesque but the room itself was clean with a good working Aircon and tv. Bathroom was adequate but "renovations" looked unprofessional. The room (2nd floor) had access to a balcony which was shared by the other rooms on the same floor, no partition. Rooms on the first floor have their own balcony but no outdoor furniture. Rooms kept clean by the efficient daily housekeeping. 2 free waters in room every day and clean towels. Leave your key and the room will be serviced. Small pool at ground level which was kept clean and is a major plus for Vibola. It can get wet and slippery though on the tiles around. Scooter and bicycle rental , local tours, onward travel and as they have their own Vibola river boat, tickets for the sunsetcruise! Mainly friendly service and some good laughs with the staff. Close to the riverside and very close to the french quarter i.e. food scène etc. We stayed here twice as we knew exactly what to expect for the price room/service wise while having access to a pool. This no frills place could do with some elbow grease and maintenance overall. For us it was convenient and did the job. Thanks, especially to Votha ( hope spelling ok)

Charged twice for our stay by hotel owner
The hotel itself was great and we liked our room a lot, but upon checkout, we were asked to pay in cash even though we had already paid through Expedia. The owner assured us Expedia would transfer the money back to us but it has been two months and I've tried to call both businesses to no avail.

Stay was very good. Pool was nicely situated. Door handle to my room needed looking at. Staff were pleasant enough although tended to lounge around. Didn't bother me but it's not the smartest look for an otherwise smart hotel. You have to guve them a nudge to clean the room. Not automatic.

Nice place, shame about the neighbours.
The layout of the hotel is not great if you would like privacy/ quiet. It all centres around a very small pool and if others are outside, it's really noisy as everything reverberates. Not appropriate if you wish to read/relax. On my stay, the room was clean , even though the bathroom had water everywhere and would have been pleasant except for the 'very noisy' neighbours. Old foursome of euro-expats up until late drinking, boasting and generally 'full-of-it' for hours. Gave up just past 12, then the roosters began a cacophony at around 3 a.m.Very little sleep was experienced.Glad it was just a 2 night stopover, otherwise arguments could have ensued.
