Resort Stay with easy access to snorkelling

"Spent only 1 night at NusaBay Menjangan but was an amazing stay. Lanai Cottage was very comfortable and well thought out. From our arrival to our departure, the staff were all attentive and very helpful. There is only 1 restaurant by the beach for all meals but loved the view. Corals by the jetty were pretty enough. But we signed up for the snorkelling tour which brought us by boat to Menjangan Island (15 - 20 minutes away). There are 2 snorkelling sites by the shore of the island, both corals with cliff edges 50m deep. One called Blue Corner reef and the other called Mangrove Reef. "

"This was such a lovely place to stay. The staff was super-accommodating, helping me arrange a climb of Mt Ijen and transport. Though it was out of town, it was in a lovely location and still only a 30-minute walk to the beach, where there's a great lobster restaurant where you can lounge for the day by the beach. BB also had Wonderful espresso drinks with breakfast. Lovely touch. "

"This was a convenient place to overnight between Bromo and Bali. The grounds are huge and decorated with beautiful sculptures, and the pool area was large and nicely done. The rooms were fine, but the bathrooms were very dirty- everything needed a good scrubbing, and our bathtub had around 10 dead insects in it when we arrived. "

Great stay

"Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside if we didnt."
