"Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. "We are a family of 6 stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights in Habarana Lodge in July 2026. The property was absolutely fabulous, clean and safe. Staff are extremely helpful, courteous and professional. Our check in was easy, particularly Manike was very helpful. We enjoyed the swiming pool, tree house, butterfly garden, spice garden, clean walkways and lush trees of the property. The most amazing experience was the breakfast and dinner buffet. Chefs Nipun and Buddika are extremely talented, creative professional and attentive. Chefs went out of their way to create sweets and special ice cream selections for our children. Food selection at the buffet was amazing and authentic and delightful. Rooms are clean, spacious and amenities are excellent. We will definitely stay here in our next trip to Sri Lanka."
