Did not appreciate that our room temperature was 90 degrees . We had to open the window and leave the door open for a couple of hours to cool it off.

I am so sorry; I can't imagine why it would have been that high or not noticed by the housekeeping staff. I have taken your review to the housekeeping and maintenance department for coaching, so this does not happen again.

We had a reservation for 5 people and at checkin we were told that the room only sleeps 4 (2 dbl beds). No cots allowed per fire regulations. We were given blankets so that one person could sleep on the floor. Advance notice would have been nice so that we could make other arrangements.

Sorry to read your review however you saw the room size that rollaway just would not fix. I will try and have this website change the number of guest in the room. The IHG website does show correct. I dont know whose name your reservation was under to review the reservation. But again I am sorry for the confusion.

We really enjoyed our stay. The free breakfast was very tasty and there were lots of options to choose from. The only thing that did not look appealing to me was the pool, it had a thick layer of a bubbly substance on top.

Very nice and clean, not much immediately around the hotel, but is a short easy drive downtown.

Thank you for the review. We have however, updated the rooms less than 5 years ago. It being an older hotel we do what we could. They still look great just not as modern as what is out there now.Please dont let that stop you from saving with us again.

I booked this hotel for the pool and it was not open when we wanted to use it. I know things happen but I feel like they should give some of our money back.

The desk clerk gave us options for dinner. When we went out we found many places to eat,well lite, and a nice area. The hotel location was hard to see from the road.

Good value for your money
I think overall this hotel is a good value for the price you pay, you can't expect perfect. However, when I first got into my room it smelled kind of musty and felt humid. Both the tile and carpet were sticky so I felt like I couldn't take my shoes off or else my feet would get dirty. Just a weird feeling and it seems like the carpets just need cleaned. The TV didn't work at first but someone came up and got it fixed. The worst part was that the shower didn't drain properly so you just had to stand in a pool of your dirty water, which I didn't enjoy much. The staff moved us to a different room that was perfect and I enjoyed my stay! Also the location is very obscure like it's close to a shopping area but also in the middle of an industrial zone. I would stay here again if I were ever in KC and needing a cheap place to stay.

Great stay
The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfy. I was really impressed with the dove amenities. Staff were nice and welcoming. Breakfast was yummy. The only thing that I did not like about my stay here, was requesting my trash be taken and being told to empty it in the trash outside the main entrance myself.

Clean, family friendly hotel!
Room was very clean. Beds were super comfy. The staff was outstanding, friendly and so helpful! The hotel is very family friendly and we felt safe and comfortable. The room was starting to show a little wear, but we would definitely stay again!

There was only 1 staff member working on a Friday night for check in.. they wouldn’t offer late check out. The beds were very uncomfortable. The pullout sofa bed you could feel every spring. And for as much as it cost they could have better toilet paper. The shower had poor water pressure. We will not stay here again
