I drove around and went to a different business then got advised that need to go to the hotel reception to check in. The outdoor areas could be better for a place with that price range. Indoor was good enough. Overall experience was good."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Aoraki Mountain Lodge. The property is older, but it is well maintained, comfortable, and offered excellent value for the price. The location is very convenient, especially given the limited number of accommodations and services available in Mount Cook Village. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. We also loved the cozy bed-and-breakfast atmosphere, which felt warm and inviting after a day of hiking and exploring. "We had a cozy suite upstairs with views of the mountains. The bed was so comfortable & the heating worked well including an electric blanket & towel rail. The kitchen downstairs with continental breakfast was also more than we expected. The staff were also lovely. The small town had 3 restaurants & a cafe. We would stay there again & would also recommend."

"Pleasant stay at Sunset motel. Our rooms had a stunning view of the snow capped mountains in the distance. Fox Glacier is a small town, so the motel is well placed to take in the activities. One suggestion for the motel owners; during the Autumn/ winter season warmer doonas and blankets are definitely needed as the rooms get extremely cold of an evening, even with the heater on."
