"We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "First the property was beautiful. Just want to mention, it was not very accessible. You need to rent a car or taxi, nothing is even close to being walkable. I rented this unit because it was close to the airport and we were leaving out the next day. Check in process... we got lucky that housekeeper was in the parking lot when we arrived. I had horrible phone service and was not able to access without wifi. She gave me the wifi password and then had to contact owner. So not so easy to...

"No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ...
