Excellent resort hotel if you prefer not too busy area. Walkable distance from restaurants and shops. 900 meters from beach. Note there is heavy traffic going to other areas such as Patong, Kata Beach.

Great accomodation. On the fourth floor overlooking the pool. Nice room, great amenities. Nice staff. 10 min walk to beach, easy to organise transport etc. Overall great accom, highly recommend.

Blood stained sheets that you have to ask twice to be changed, shower that doesn’t regulate its temperature (so you’ll be freezing and burning within 10 seconds) and meat cooked on the same pan as vegan/vegetarian food - with no cleaning in between! Absolutely would never visit again. The only upside this hotel has is its location.

The hotel was nice and clean. The pool was nice and most importantly the staff was amazing. The front office staff to the dining staff was so nice and accommodating. Great overall service! I will definitely stay again.

Very disappointing. My room was never cleaned in the 5 days I was there. The breakfast buffet was a total joke aswell!

Everyone was friendly, staff were very helpful and always acknowledged you, even the young man cleaning the pool in the morning had a smile on his face! The bed was a little hard, but I am one for a soft mattress.

We didn't like how to AC/Electricity could only be in use if a room key was inserted in the slot. That being said, every time we returned to our room in took a bit for it to cool down and it was always muggy upon entering.

Stanza uno: appena arrivati coprimaterassi e cuscini con macchie gialle e maleodoranti. Fatti cambiare immediatamente. Dopo 2 notti abbiamo chiesto il cambio camera in quanto aveva l'unità esterna del condizionatore rumorosissima e scaldava il terrazzino in maniera torrida, tanto da renderlo impraticabile. Stanza due: coprimaterassi e guanciali anche qua sudici e improponibili. Fatti cambiare anche questi. Siccome qualche guanciale era rimasto di colore e odore inaccettabile, abbiamo sempre dormito con un asciugamano sopra. Cigliegina sulla torta finale: avendo un pickup verso l'aeroporto aeroporto alle 19, chiedo un late-checkout. Mi dicono che fino alle 19 costa come una notte in più. Ok. Che però quantificano in 2500 bat. Peccato che su Booking la STESSA stanza era data a 2000 bat e sul sito dell'hotel a 1700 in promozione a 1300. Glielo faccio presente, mi dicono di prenotarla online. La procedura di acquisto sul loro sito NON FUNZIONA. Per cui sono andato tramite Booking, risparmiando 500 bat. Al Check-out mi trovo una sorpresa: mi mettono in conto la sacca lavanderia (che in tutti gli hotel del mondo sono gratuite), alla cifra di 200 bat. Francamente sconsiglio questa struttura, soprattutto se non amate dormire nella sporcizia. Ci tengo a precisare che sono stato in altre zone della Thailandia e la situazione era ben diversa.

Ottima posizione a 5 minuti dalla splendida spiaggia di Karon ,buona la pulizia, camera ampia con un bel balcone sulla piscina unico neo mancava un canale italiano alla tv e alla presenza di una porta comunicante con la camera attigua che specialmente la notte faceva sentire rumori e voci .colazione ottima e abbondante anche se mancava un po’ di salato , personale eccezionale specialmente alla reception e in sala colazione tuti erano molto gentili premurosi e disponibili,sotto l’hotel ci sono vari negozietti, ristoranti noleggio scooter etc etc tutti con prezzi molto vantaggiosi. Spero di ritornare presto in questo ottimo hotel

Siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli hiukan syrjässä keskustasta, ravintolat ja kaupat eivät siis olleet ihan nurkan takana. Hyvä wifi. Mukava uima-allas myös talon katolla. Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta.

It was in a good location. Very safe and several food options right across the street. The staff was very nice and quick to help. If you get a chance go up and check out the roof top pool. It's a cool view.

Size of the beds and cleanliness of the room was a big, big plus. Reception staff were incredibly helpful their English is very good too. Only a couple of comments which are in no way complaints. The rooftop pool needs to be renovated and is a bit dated. And the room (No. 3407), only thing was the plug in the shower must be clogged as the drainage was poor, and the generator on the balcony pumped out very hot air so it wasn’t possible to stay out there too long.

Our stay at Chanalai was great! Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Any problems were dealt with straight away. Karon Beach was only 5mins away from the hotel which was great. There is shops right outside the hotel and restaurants also if i need to do activities there is a lady with great prices with very good activities to do. They had a rooftop pool which was lovely to see the sunset. In general the hotel was very clean however they did sometimes forget to give towels etc. Overall was a good stay and would recommend others to try Chanalai Hillside.

Hermoso hotel
Last habitaciones son increíbles, nos hospedamos en las habitaciones a nivel e alberca y fue de lo mejor. Está muy cerca del BIG Buda y a muchos mercaditos, el restaurante que está en frente es delicioso, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Everything was nice, I love the pool access room, and the restaurant across from the hotel, just one thing may need improvement is that the shower faucet was sometimes out of hot water. I love staying in this hotel and would recommend others to book for vacation.
