What a delightful hotel. Quiet and clean with a lovely breakfast and an owner who is one of the friendliest and helpful people you'll ever meet. I wish I could have stayed here longer.

We felt like we were family at this hotel. We were sorry to leave. Everything was perfect and we will miss the bakaskas family very much. The village was charming and in a beautiful setting. Mr balaskys also owns the cruise boat Alimunda and I highly recommend sailing with him He is very agreeable good prices and clearly loves his work and people.

Siamo stati una settimana presso l'hotel gestito a conduzione familiare. L'accoglienza è stata buona. La signora è molto gentile, disponibile e premurosa. La camera era pulita, con il necessario per il pernottamento. Consiglio di soggiornare presso io Balaskas hotel per poter apprezzare la tipica accoglienza greca.

Kamala läävä kaupungin laidalla.

Hotelli oli hirveä. Jouduimme muutaman neliön kellarikoppiin, vaikka olimme maksaneet parvekkeesta, keittiöstä ja wifistä ylemmissä kerroksissa. Wifiä ei ollut, jääkaappia/vedenkeitintä ei ollut, parveketta ei ollut, koska olimme maan alla kellarissa. Katon rajassa oli lukittu, laudoilla peitetty ikkuna, palovaroitinta ei ollut. Huoneessa haisi tupakka ja siellä oli tuhkakuppi, vaikka piti olla savuton huono. Vessassa ja suihkussa oli hämähäkinseittejä sekä hämähäkki. Suihku oli osittain vessanpöntön päällä, verhoa ei ollut. Hotellissa ei ollut ketään, kun saavuimme iltapäivällä, puhelinnumerot eivät toimineet. Saimme huoneen käyttöömme vasta seitsemältä illalla. Ahne kreikkalaismummo mummo vieritti syyn huonesta siihen, että hänellä ei ole ollut wifiä ja puhelinta moneen viikkoon. Kuitenkin kaikkialla muualla koko kylässä toimi wifit ja puhelimet, mukaanlukien hänen oma ja hänen miehensä kännykkä toimi. Mummo myös yritti laittaa huonetta sen piikkiin, että hän ei tiennyt meidän tulostaan (alunperin meidät siirrettiin hänen hotelliinsa ylibuukkauksen takia, joka oli kuitenkin tiedossa jo kuukautta etukäteen).

Grazioso hotel vicino al mare.

Dopo un inizio non piacevole in quanto la strada dall'aereoporto all'hotel è terribile tutte curve tornanti, poi ci siamo trovati in un bel posto con spiagge e posti meravigliosi. Il paese purtroppo non offre le cose più essenziali tipo banche, uso di carte non accettato quasi da nessuno, farmacia o un super decente. Malgrado ciò abbiamo passato un bella vacanza. L'hotel è carino, pulito, una buona colazione e staff gentile e cordiale che organizza delle belle escursioni a piedi e in barca. Il posto è carino ma non ci sono divertimenti. La sera solo piccola passeggiata e cene tipiche nei locali sul mare. zona per rilassarsi fare relax e mare bello e pulito.

Piccolo hotel a gestione famigliare

IAbbiamo soggiornato per 10 gg in questo piccolo hotel a Diafani a conduzione famigliare , dove abbiamo trovato gentilezza ,cordialità da parte di tutti i suoi componenti padre, madre e figlio . Michalis preparava colazioni veramente buone e abbondanti con formaggio ,uova , miele ecc. Il papà Vasilis possiede una barca e con €10,00 a persona può portarti nelle spiagge più belle e poco raggiungibili in auto . Lo consiglio vivamente

Apres 9 heures de ferry depuis Heraklion , arrivée vers 20:30 nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambre en sous sol qui ne correspondait en rien à celle réservées sur Hôtel. Com et avons été obligées de dormir là car rien d autre de disponible à Diafani; les hôteliers pratiquent de l overbooking et ont par ailleurs tenté de prélever l entier de la somme avant notre arrivée. Nous avons dû quitter cet hôtel précipitamment n ayant pu trouver un accord avec la logeuse; merci au service client d avoir tenté d intervenir mais sans succès.les hôteliers effacent les commentaires négatifs et nous recommandons vivement à hôtel.com de rayer cet hôtel de son répertoire!

Perfetta! Accoglienza e cordialità Consiglio le escursioni in barca organizzate dal Balaskas hotel Colazione energica e buona Clima disteso e cordiale Il personale dell'albergo mette gli ospiti a proprio agio Lo consigliero ai miei amici e sicuramente ci tornerò Diafani è un piccolo paesino dove il tempo si è fermato e il Balskas hotel ne è la conferma Vacanza indimenticabile Il wi-fi a volte non prende La TV in camera non funzionava Ma non mi è mancata :-) Karpathos è famosa per il vento Basta quello a cullare le notti degli ospiti Il mio giudizio quello della mia amica e della coppa giovane che ha soggiornato al Balaskas durante il nostro stesso periodo, è unanime Voto 10!

hotel piacevole e confortevole. consiglio molto

Siamo arrivati in hotel in tre con una prenotazione, fatta da noi, sbagliata, ma Eugenia venendoci incontro con tutta la gentilezza e disponibilità ci ha sistemato nel migliore dei modi. Hotel confortevole. Gestito da due persone gentili e sempre disponibili a risolvere e soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta. Insomma Eugenia e Vasilis sembrano i genitori che ognuno di noi vorrebbe avere. Loro greci noi italiani.....una faccia una razza.

gentilezza ma anche pulizia

premesso che gli standard greci della pulizia sono tendenzialmente inferiori ai nostri ho trovato l'albergo piuttosto sporco, copriletto e tende ne sono stati un esempio. il cambio degli asciugamani soddisfacente a parte l'aver dimenticato il tappeto per il bagno e non avere, in 15 giorni mai lavato il pavimento. A parte questo sono molto gentili anche se non abbiamo usufruito di nessuno dei servizi aggiuntivi offertici ripetutamente.

Hôtel familial dans un cadre authentique.

Hôtel situé à 200 mètres du centre du village de Diafini. Accueil chaleureux de la famille de Wassili, le propriétaire toujours prêt à vous rendre service et à organiser des tours sur son bateau pour 20 euros (la journée)

Nice hotel but inland from the sea front

The hotel is nice but about 1 Klm inland form the sea front. Diafani is a really small village and it would have been better to stay on the sea front The hotel owner was nice but tried to sell us extra night at the hotel when we were going to Pigadia

A fortnight in Diafani

Very friendly family-run hotel. Mr and Mrs Balaskas are extremely welcoming. They are full of ideas for walks, swims, boat trips and places to eat. Diafani is enchanting and very unspoiled by tourism while at the same time being well-equipped for it. One thing future visitors need to bear in mind is that there is no cash dispenser in Diafani so you need to make sure you have enough cash on you as it is an hour's boat journey to the nearest ATM!
