"Uhuru was a nice place to stay, and the staff was truly lovely, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my visit. The price was also quite reasonable. The biggest challenge was the frequent power outages. "AC did not work and they couldn’t fix it. The water pressure was also extremely low which made it hard to shower and even flush the toilet. There was an awesome guy working 24/7 who was trying to solve all problems. Thumbs up to him. "

"Staff were absolutely wonderful, fantastic location and great breakfast; however the facilities (in particular the showers) are in dire need of replacing. We had to ask to switch rooms because the shower head burst open and was unusable. The room we moved to also had the same issue which was a real let down because it's otherwise very pleasant."

We paid $2,700 for what was clearly sold to us as a 3-day tour, but after payment it was suddenly reduced to only 2 days with no proper explanation or refund.
