"Uhuru was a nice place to stay, and the staff was truly lovely, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my visit. The price was also quite reasonable. The biggest challenge was the frequent power outages. I understand that this was an issue with the local power grid and completely outside of the hotel’s control, but unfortunately, it did impact my experience. "Arrived late and were greeted by staff who even made us a meal despite the late hour. Room was tired, scuffy with stained cushions. Pillows had dried blood and mold stains so needed changing immediately, which was done. Ours was meant to be Delux Garden View, we had a corridor view through front window and a brick wall view through seriously cement stained back window so we didn't open curtains during our time there. From having a mess in 1 room since they were building a bed, no toiletries at all as mentioned, Water was not working properly; lights went off in 1 room and the ac and water not working in another.
