"We had a wonderful stay. The roo. Was spacious for 3 people (room #2). Beds were soft and comfortable. The proprietor was such a nice gentlemen. Breakfast was amazing....the best that we had dyring our entire 10 day trip and we had a fantasic waitress (from California). Great stay. Only bad thing...we were only there for one night. I would have been great to stay longer. "

"This is the best place I've ever stayed. I cannot fault them in any way whatsoever. The friendliness of staff, cleanliness, comfort, food, breakfast and the bar are all excellent. The only thing is the portions for evening meals. One meal would do 2 people. This was my second stay there this year and I will certainly be back again God willing. Nothing is too much in this hotel. Staff very attentive and accommodating. Best place ever to stay in. "

"We enjoyed the hospitality of the front desk and the restaurant workers. We had several nice breakfasts and a tasty dinner at the hotel restaruant, which seems to bring in locals. Although the Huntsman Inn is a bit of a walk to the Latin Quarter, we enjoyed our walks to and from. If you have a car, the parking lot will be useful. "

"We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. "The area of town is nothing special, but we enjoyed watching rugby practice at the adjacent pitch. Two issues were the shower; the pressure was good but the design is poor. There was water all over the floor afterwards. The second issue was really poor service in the restaurant, both at dinner and at breakfast. Apparently, being short handed is an issue outside of the US as well. "
