"As of May 2026, property was being renovated. We received a remodeled room, which was clean and adequately appointed. We had stayed here about 3 years earlier, so the fact that we returned is a positive. Staff were friendly. The hotel is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. Its not in the center of town, buy you walk (about 20+ minutes)."

"Room was clean and had air conditioning. Shower was good, no complaints. Lifts worked, great access to downtown. I didn't book parking at the building but they validated parking at the near by parking garage so it gave a comparable rate."

"The Snug townhouse is located right in the heart of the night life. Perfect location for anyone looking to experience all Galway has to offer. The staff were helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again."

"The G was a lovely hotel and spa. Easy check-inand the employees at the front desk were great, very helpful. Love the flavored waters offered in the lobby. The thermal suite was a welcome treat after a long day. The rooms were a clean good size and the bathroom also was great. Loved the towel warmer and the soaps. It is a quick drive or taxi ride into Galway City Centre. Breakfast was very good lots of options and fresh Would highly recommend"

"It's a very basic one- or two-star hotel; an older building with very basic bedding, no A/C, small bathroom and shower, no lift, and a basic breakfast setup with continental and buffet items. There was free parking, which I appreciated. It was fine, but somehow I way overpaid (335 EUR / 395 USD) for what it was; I thought it would be a nicer and maybe more personalized B&B experience, but as it was I was disappointed. "Unbelievable location. Great apartment. Staff is extremely responsive. Trouble with the washer/dryer, but it was resolved. Could have used a few more towels and TP, but the staff took care of it quickly. Cannot stress the location enough. Highly recomend a stay there."

"Parking was easy and free. Staff within were not very professional. Getting food was terrible-very slow, not helpful and didn't care. Couldn't fathom check in rules as we couldn't get a room earlier yet a family member who had not arrived could....same type room. Crazy. I know it wasn't checkin time but we had to get changed for an evening wedding do and asked but they weren't very pleasant with their attitude"

"Great location on the promenade. You can walk to pubs, restaurants, and music in Salt Hill. And it's a short cab ride to all the sites in Galway."
