"Breakfast was great. Lovely staff."

"The whole hotel was very rundown and sad. It smelled like stale bar smoke. The room had hair on the bed along with worn out and sandpaper rough linens. The shower door was hanging off its track. There was mold in the corners and the carpet stunk. It felt like a you hostel more than a hotel. "

"Breakfast was located near the rooms with plenty to eat. Parking is on the street in front or there is a large lot to the rear. Room had what we needed and was clean. Quiet until about 6am when someone rolled up playing club music just outside our room. Bed comfy and hot shower. Could walk to get food, laundry down the street and a cute farmers market was setting up across the street when we left ( Friday)."

"The setting of this hotel is beautiful, and as long as you have a car, it’s easy to get around - we used it for a base for the Galway area. Our stay included breakfast, which was lovely. We even had it in our room one day. A few draw backs for us was: the front desk staff, who were pretty rude and unhelpful when we checked in (but we are used to American level of friendliness of service) Also how early everything closed, the kitchen closes at nine even on a weekend… I wish we had known…"

"We needed a room for the night so could visit Galway in the morning. Room was Clean and the staff was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast was actually amazing and we were pleasantly surprised. Would recommend if you're ok with staying a bit out of the city centre. Free parking included ! "

The staff went above and beyond, checking in on us regularly over the following days and anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. "Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was incredible- above and beyond- I wish I got the name of the girl working the 2 nights I was there she was great. We utilized the laundry service, which was simple and convenient. £25 a bag. The breakfast was just what you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. The pool was nice- I do wish there was more space to just relax in the pool when I went it was set up for las only- but that might have been the timing. Bistro restaurant was pretty good!"
