"Suite rooms ran down to unbearable condition. Bedding and furniture are old and damaged. Electric appliances outdated and damaged. Ceramic tiles very old and cracked. Bedding sheets were not cleaned and had spots on them."

We walk everywhere, so we found that the location (while not right in town) was fairly easy to walk into town or to the beach, and it was quiet at night. For meals, there were a lot of markets and restaurants nearby and the hotel had an excellent breakfast. "Very disappointed in our stay at Eliseo Palace. We had booked 2 Luxury Rooms, which are described as having a balcony on the hotel’s website. The rooms are supposed to be larger and more spacious, again as described on the hotel’s website. Neither room had a balcony. In fact, our room had a queen bed and a twin bed.
