Fabulous rooftop terrace/infinity pool to relax after sightseeing/hiking. Staff were all very friendly and helpful - when I needed to leave at 6am for an early flight, they not only booked me a taxi using an app with local discount applied, but also opened the entire hot and cold breakfast buffet an hour early, just for me. Amazing service

My wife and I caught a cold and the hotel staff called a doctor, and when the prescription order was received, went and bought the medicines and brought them to our room, and continuously checked up on us. The hotel restaurant had a good selection on its menu of local and western foods, all tasty. The buffet breakfast was superb

We stayed here for almost two weeks. I have an allergy to Gluten and the chefs went out of their way to make me special food for the entire trip. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like this was our second home. We will be going back and staying at Hotel Shambala! Thank you so much to everyone. We have travelled all over the world, and have never felt so welcome and taken care of. The staff was fabulous. Our room was always cleaned, and when we needed anything, it was there. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Solid property. Good value for money. I didn’t have a chance to try out the spa. Breakfast was very respectable with a nice omelet station and plenty of fruit and options. Rooftop bar had a nice pianist one night and the view of the mountains is gorgeous. You need a sweater up there and the water is freezing so you won’t be lingering. Location: about 35 min from airport and reasonable to go seeing local attractions like Boudanath and others. Overall pleased with it.

We had the pleasure of staying one night at Hotel Shambula. After a very long and stressful journey to Nepal we arrived at noon and checked in. But unfortunately, our airline misplaced our baggage so we had a long day of waiting ahead of us. The hotel staff were so incredibly helpful and supportive from the beginning, checking with the airport for us on the status of where are bags were and what not. The hotel operations manager himself even escorted/drove us back to the airport to collect our bags when they finally arrived in Nepal late in the evening! The hotel itself was lovely, clean and had beautiful decor. The overall vibe really helped calm us in our hours of feeling very unsettled, given our situation that we were in all day. The roof bar and pool had absolutely amazing views and had a great selection of drinks and some nice things to eat and the restaurant downstairs had a good selection of local and international dishes to cater to all tastes with a lovely outside terrace, full of beautiful flowers to sit in and have drinks after dinner. We have a few more days back in Katmandu in a week or so, and hope to stay again! We really can’t thank you enough for your smiles and kindness. Highly recommend staying here!

チャクラパットチョークに近く交通のアクセスの良い立地です。内装もシックで清潔感があります。屋上階にはプールがあり夜景も綺麗です。決してハイグレードホテルではありませんが、日本人旅行者でも高望みしなければ十分満足できるのではないでしょうか。エアコンと温水はちゃんと出ますが停電はします。Wi-Fiは高速ですが停電時は止まります。 スタッフに頼むと帰国時PCR テストのため近くのクリニックから職員を呼んでくれます。一人2000ルピーで結果は6時間後メールに届きます。厚労省指定の書式とは違うので説明が必要です。スタッフに頼むとccmcと合わせてプリントアウトしてくれました。
