"We had a great stay here in Katoomba! Great location, 5-10minutes from all the tourist spots and lookouts. Scenic World was amazing! Three Sisters was beautiful! We even went on a foggy morning and could see nothing, but it cleared up in a couple hours so we could see it all. We walked to the little shopping area. This Hotel location was great for our family and we had a huge room the kids were excited about and proud to Facetime the grandparents to show them!"

"Nostalgia at its best. This is an authentic old inn, so if you are looking for the Marriott this is not for you. Excellent views of the mountains, all the staff were fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and spend some time with Alan, the piano player. Happy hour piano bar, doesn’t get much better. Oh yea, it’s close to all those trails too. "

"The property is obviously old and it shows. Expedia told me I can expect a continental breakfast, none were offered and absolutely refused. I booked a superior room and given a room overlooking a metal roof and a crane and was offered to a further upgrade for additional fee of $70 per night."

"Lilianfels is an exceptional property and enjoys this achievement..As it is undergoing major renovations at this time many areas and functions have been compromised It is unfair to make any comment except to say the management and staff were exemplary in handling my stay. Thank you Lilianfels"

"Overall our stay in a 2 bedroom apartment was good. The motel is well located and there are EV chargers in the car park. The kitchenette was adequately equipped with a fridge and microwave, cutlery, chopping board, cups and plates. A few simple things would help get a better rating. For example, the addition of a sharp cutting knife, and somewhere to hang the tea towel. Two satchels of dishwashing liquid is insufficient for a week stay, but wasn’t replenished until requested. The 2nd bedroom would benefit from a couple of hooks. The bathroom has no shelves. Cleaning each day was patchy with no more than a bare minimum. We stayed for a week and the room needed a good vacuuming midway. Front desk staff were responsive when requests were made, but really for the price these things should be routine."
