"Well located, very short walk to shops, restaurants etc. Good off street parking, although spaces are small and large vehicles may obstruct others access. Reception staff are friendly and obliging. Room was tidy with good amenities that suited our needs. Overall our stay was comfortable.
The shower in bathroom could have been cleaner. It's an older property and I don't expect perfection in budget accommodation of this type, but the amount of mould between the tiles was disgusting. A disappointing aspect was that on arrival we reported that a heat lamp globe in the bathroom ceiling was out. Reception reported it to maintenance and followed up several times on our behalf but it was never fixed. At one point we were given an excuse that maintenance were busy and didn't have time to go to Bunnings and get a replacement. Eventually we gave up asking.
I have removed a star from the rating due to the complete lack of concern about guest comfort by maintenance. A very unresponsive maintenance team is a major downfall if you stay here. I suspect this is due to cost cutting by the owners we were told that the same team services a number of properties."
