"We landed late in Naples only to realise the hotel I had originally booked was the wrong dates (my fault). Managed to find this little gem while in the queue at Passport Control and within the hour, Ciro was on his way to pick us up for half the price of an airport taxi. "It was good for easy access to Pompeii. The local station was 25 minutes walk, but the host was very helpful in giving us lifts to the station and back. There was a good pizza restaurant (Romana) within easy walking distance and an amazing burger restaurant called 30 posti near the station, although it was quite a long walk with some streets with no pavement. "Service was okay the reception was very nice helpful. But when in the morning we went to breakfast the lighting was low.so we couldn't see well what was available and the cereal was by the counter and on the table was bread and some cake with no names on the display just for drinks. "Room was large but bare. Just a couple of chairs besides the bed made the space not flexible to use as a true ‘suite’. Heat hard to control. Had a big whirlpool tub, but small spigot meant it took a long time to fill. Room clean; housekeeping does a nice job. Desk staff friendliness mixed."

"Excellent stay at Maison di Fiore with easy access to Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Naples / the airport. This is real family hospitality - their whole family went out of their way to make my stay amazing and personal, offering a custom experience through transport (they took me to Herculaneum, Vesuvius and the airport themselves) and excellent food. I haven’t experienced such good hospitality in a long time, truly 5 star! "
