"We had such a wonderful stay at The Collector Luxury Inn & Gardens. The location honestly could not have been better. Everything in downtown St. Augustine was so walkable, which made the whole trip feel relaxed instead of like some sweaty Florida parking scavenger hunt designed by demons.
One of the coolest parts of staying here is that the property is made up of historic homes, and hearing the stories behind them added so much character to the experience. It felt charming and unique without trying too hard to be “luxury rustic coastal vintage artisan” or whatever marketing people are calling things now.
The atmosphere was peaceful from the moment we arrived. We especially loved that it’s an adults-only property. It made the entire inn feel quiet, calm, and genuinely romantic. Perfect for couples wanting to slow down for a few days.
Breakfast each morning was simple, but very good, and the setting made it even better. Sitting outside in the quiet gardens with coffee in the morning felt incredibly relaxing.
The gardens themselves were beautiful and almost whimsical. There were so many flowers and interesting plants, including these unusual orange flowers that almost looked like they were floating. The whole property had this dreamy, tucked-away feeling.
Most importantly, the staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had an amazing experience and would absolutely return."
