"Staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean, with an excellent view. But the bed was not very comfortable, and the heating was not brilliant. The fixtures and fittings were worn and dated. Breakfast was ok, but could do with a decent coffee machine as you would find in similar setups. So in short, a potentially lovely place that just needs investment to upgrade it."

"A couple of nights stay in April. We came up from London and arrived a couple of hours early, hoping to either check in early or at the very least that our bags could be held at reception, as you can in some hotels but not here. You can register your car for the car park, and the use of the bar & restaurant.
