"Me and my friend stayed here for 10 days, and safe to say, we had a great time! The staff was super sweet, welcoming and helpful. They served breakfast to the room when we woke up everyday which was nice and they accomodated it to our needs. The manager did a great job making sure we had a nice time during our stay. The hotel is in a pretty relaxed neighbourhood, with a short walking distance to the beach. The cleaning was done well every day if we wanted, and you really get your money worth....

"We visited The Island at Pongwe as the final stop on our honeymoon to Tanzania and Zanzibar and it was the perfect way to conclude an incredible trip.
Set on a coral island just off of Zanzibar, the Island Pongwe is run by the amzaing Michela and her team. The island feels like pure rustic luxury and prides itself on being as sustainable as possible - they source food and materials locally.
