"Marie was an excellent host and wealth of knowledge as to what to see,do,and eat while in Homer. And her breakfasts were spectacular!! Loved the homemade fresh jams, jellies, and syrups. The room and restroom was spacious and clean. Probably the best view from the deck balcony that we have seen in a number of years. We highly recommend the Majestic B&B for the perfect stay while in Homer, Alaska."

"Wonderful view! Nice, roomy unit. Two issues. 1. Couldn’t figure out how to use the tv. Searching said no channels found. 2. Unit description online showed “kitchen”. There was a little fridge in the room with a microwave on top. That’s not a kitchen."

"Great location, funky suite layout, but had all the necessities. I really appreciated the good WIFI, black-out drapes, and plenty of clean towels. The owner was very kind and helpful. BONUS I loved seeing all the bunny rabbits everywhere."

"The room was clean but outdated. We did have a great view of the ocean. The trail down to the ocean was steep and narrow. We were worried we might fall going down so did not use. That was one reason we booked it because it was on the ocean and we like walking on the beach."

"The solarium and hot tub was a good distance away and was just a green house. I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. "My friend and I were very excited to be visiting Alaska for the first time. We were also excited to be staying at the Halcyon bed-and-breakfast as the photos looked very nice. Upon arrival, we entered the owners upstairs living room, only to find it in complete disarray, very messy and not very clean.
