The room was smaller than I expected but very comfortable. I have a bad back and woke without back pain. There is a lot to do in the hotel alone, and much to do around town within walking distance. "The best staff in the business, hands down, pat yourselves on the back! Older hotel with a lot of history to be told, spotless lobby, was very well kept. We stayed in a balcony suite, bed was comfortable, room was cozy, air conditioning worked amazingly well. Only thing was the bathroom was a little outdated, no harm no foul though. It is in the heart of the Gas Lamp District, expect outside noise, sirens, garbage trucks, etc. We will be back! Thank you again for the hospitality!"
