"Fridge and freezer didn't work. Cooking implements, pans, plates and cups cost extra. Coffee maker had to be purchased, and there was no coffee or tea in the lobby. No change available for laundry, so you had to accept the surcharge for using credit card. Internet failed. Power failed, AC would shutofff automatically.. it was just terrible. "

"From start to finish.. WOW. I felt super spoiled! When you arrive, you're greeted by super kind and professional front desk. (Being greet with complimentary champagne/water, what!) The room was super clean, super spacious and what a view! The room service was super quick and attentive. They shuttle you to the resorts pool that has a beautiful water fall. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We will be back!"

We brought our small dog, which we knew there would be a pet fee, however when 150 dollar charge was added on for pet cleaning of the room. after being charged 100 pet fee , this did not sit right with me! We were never told or informed of this 150 charge? When questioned the lady said it should say it on website, which we couldn't not find it! What is the purpose of a petted and then a pet cleaning fee? We did enjoy our stay ."

"The young lady and lady with red hair that work in the front are really nice and helpful with directions and helping us with things in the hotel, they are very nice and friendly and gave me compliments:) as a 19 yr who struggles with booking hotels at my age i really recommend this one they are outstanding at what they do even providing key points that i need to know and providing directions on beach locations, they have a passion and good energy twords people.They are the most nicest genuine...

"Best thing about this place is location and price. You are less than 3 miles from the beach, Tin city and 5th avenue shopping areas. Less than 20 miles from Marco Island and Bonita springs. Negatives: run down and a musty smell rooms,lumpy beds I had to ask for more towels you only get two, I like two towels just for myself, noises people and cars it’s in a ihop parking lot. I’m a non smoker so I’m turned off by smoking allowed outside of rooms it always floats down to mine. Would I stay again...

"We switched our reservation from the 4 Seasons to the Escalante and are so glad we did so. It was walking distance to the town but a completely secluded, hideaway. It was so relaxing, clean and beautiful. We loved the staff and music. We absolutely will return and highly recommend to others!"

"para quedar 1 o 2 noches solo a dormir está bien, pero para más días no, la habitación no está bien iluminada y la ventana de las habitaciones del primer piso se puede ver de afuera para dentro de la habitación, porque la cortina no cierra bien. el baño un poco incómodo pero fuera de eso, la limpieza estaba normal, las camas cómodas, y el personal bastante amable, si tuviera que viajar por muchos días no me hospedaría nuevamente, pero si solo voy un día o dos si"
