It was a good place to only sleep in nights. It was really clean and there was a shared community room in the middle of the hallway with fridge, range and a TV. The room was really small and the bed was more like a twin rather than a queen but considering the price, can't complain. I only spend roughly nine hours in the room and if you looking for a place to only spend the nights and sleep alone, I highly recommend it. I would book it again if I visit the city in the future.

We stayed to attend the Memorial Cup. The room rate was significantly below the rates being charged at Kelowna area hotels - who have chosen to use a surge pricing strategy during the Tournament. The facility met all of our requirements - a safe clean and comfortable room to spend our limited downtime while we enjoyed the hockey and sights and sounds of this beautiful area of our country.

This room had everything that I needed for an overnight stay. No tv, but that was fine as there was WIFI. I like that one had to have a special fob to enter the residential part. Made it safe than a hotel, where anyone can access.

Building is clean as well as our room. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Parking is free. It is 2-3 minutes away from the airport. We needed padlocks for our luggages and we were able to purchase them at UBC’s bookstore. They also Tim Hortons inside the compound. We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. The only problem was their service elevator at the Nechako Building. You have to take the stairs with your heavy luggages to get to the main floor unless you unload your stuff in the opposite side of the building within 15 minutes.

The residence is very new and very clean. I stayed in one of two rooms with an adjoining washroom. The other room was not occupied so I had the washroom to myself. As you can imagine a brand new residence it was very comfortable and clean. The downside was the check-in process. The parking was located behind the building, but you had to get back on the highway to go around to the parking lot and it was hard to find the lot and get back to the residence building. So a little bit inconvenient. Otherwise it was a very nice stay.
