"Kitchen was very small, the size of a closet. I thought I was going to have 3 beds and it ended up being a double bed, a murphy bed and a hide a bed. All the beds were very uncomfortable."

"When arriving the front desk was great and refreshing gave us an upgrade from queen to king. Then arrive in the room bathroom is very dates the shower is yellow the toilet is low and flushing have to hold for a full min for the water to go down. Then 2 am came the neighbors hooting and yelling have a great time not caring about neighbors till 4am. We book for 2 nights not even asked why we turned the keys early. After the 2 am situation i wasnt up for another night. The morning went for breakfast got a stale apple turn over and cold coffee. The parking is tricky if you have disabilities there is very few and after going out for dinner there was none available. We wont be going back. Around 930 thought we would go downstairs for a drink and appy was told they are closed and well you can go to the spegetti factory i asked what time are they open till the lady said i dont know look it up My thought was if you work here why wouldnt you know the time they are closed. Anyways headed to the room for the night. "

"We were only staying one night with a very early plane to catch but it was a very comfortable stay and the staff were super helpful and friendly, even though they were rushed off their feet!"

I thought the person who imagined the idea of having a small kitchen with cutlery/plates/cups/glasses, mini dishwasher, full size refrigerator, was thinking about those who may not be able to eat out and afford to stay at a hotel. TownePlace brought it all together including a restaurant in house that’s affordable!!! Congratulations you are now at the top of my favourites ❤️"

"I just needed the basic room to sleep at night because I was only in the area for a week and we were really busy and didn't spend much time there in fact a couple of nights we stayed in another hotel in Vancouver. What I didn't like, I know there's not much of a way around it based on the property but there were these three garbage bins located right underneath my window. That was my view. One night there was a guy throwing things from one garbage bin into another he was dressed up in a workman type suit so I don't think he was like a homeless person I think he was just working late and it was after midnight and I had to get up early the next day and as soon as I tried to fall asleep I would hear this crash! Throwing things in the next bin. I don't know if they worked on this all night because at 4:00 I heard voices talking and they were also throwing things so maybe I fell asleep even with the noise and then just woke up again at 4:00 a.m. Then I had to be out by 0-500 that was a hard night. As far as the maintenance, on my last day there I saw a sign saying that the hotel was under reconstruction and I only wish the best for the future of the hotel because it was in need of repair, and upgrading. Possibly the worst thing was the HVAC system which consisted of two baseboard heaters and a "window shaker" air conditioning unit. If you left the baseboard heaters on even on low it got too hot, so you have to switch to the cooling at 0400hrs, but then the cooling hon"
