"Staff were friendly and accommodating even when we were running a little late on our reservation. The service and dining were excellent, especially if you are looking for something that has a more localized feel to it. "A most distressing and upsetting stay. Upon checking in, we discovered that the elevator was out of order and had to ask a young staff person who showed us where the stairs were so we could carry our bags to our room- we had to ask him if might find the time to help us with our bags (we are in our mid-70s and just came of a 6+ hour drive). Despite the thread-bare chairs, the room did have its charms- lovely view (no amenities). The shower nearly killed me - the water regulator wasn't working...
