We asked if he could get us snapper and vegetables for dinner and he organised for it to be delivered and grilled for us by an onsite chief. It was delicious 10/10 and we could continue our holiday without worrying about food. Swahili house is everything we were looking for, Diani beach experience but more peacful without the crowds. "This is a typical guesthouse. It has a warm and friendly staff and a nice property. They will go out of their way for you! But typical for a guesthouse, you must leave your key when you go out. Bring your own shampoo, etc, and hair dryer."

"My stay at the Hob House was amazing. I stayed there a week and it was a home away from home. The place is so charming and comfortable. The grounds and gardens are immaculate. The staff is so warm, kind, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and so convenient. It's in a quiet neighborhood with other beautiful homes. All of the tour companies will send shuttles to pick you up and Ubers are always 3-4 minutes away. Absolutely stay in a king size room if one is available."

"Very happy with my stay. The property is a small oasis in an otherwise busy area with a beautiful property. The staff are outstanding and always helpful and welcoming. There were heavy rains during my stay which flooded the access road and the staff always found a way for me to cross when I left/arrived on foot. The room was basic but very comfortable with diligent daily service. However the shower appeared to need a deep clean on the tile. The water flow in the shower was also less than ideal...
