"Our stay at Dashwood was lovely. It is the perfect location to get all around Victoria quickly. It is next to the ocean / beach and a multipurpose path and across from Beacon Hill park. Dashwood is very charming with many of the original details all modernized over the years. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and snacks and drinks provided were thoughtful. "The people walking around on the floor above us was disruptive to our sleep. We mentioned it to the front desk the next morning - he suggested that perhaps management would look at soundproofing the floors and ceilings with the next reno. Front desk staff in the evening was ok just not as warm and welcoming as I was expecting, but the guy who checked us out was most helpful the next day. Would definitely consider staying here again."
