Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"We visited for a week at the end of September and it was amazing! My husband and I booked this trip for a late honeymoon and we had a lot of fun. Our room was cleaned and stocked daily with amenities/ water and if we needed anything else in the room or anything at all the RIU app was super helpful. The app had a schedule with all the restaurants, market hours, activities and excursions you can book. We booked an activity through the app with Vallarta Adventures and it was a highlight of our trip! All of the restaurants were amazing, no need for reservations or waiting for a table, except for the Steak House which we went to twice! Our favorite restaurant was Guacamole, the food was so good and they had such a great selection of starters and deserts. A huge shoutout to the swim up bartenders (polo!) and all of the recreation/activity staff, they were awesome! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!! The only thing I would wish for would be a shuttle to the hotel/airport but we used Uber to get around and it worked great!"

"We got a suite which was well worth the price for the extra room. The cleaning staff was great. The vibe at the hotel was really good. The only negative is that the property is over an hour from Puerto Vallarta so any activities outside the hotel take a huge part of your day due to transportation."

"I love all the open areas to relax and see the sites. The amount of pools. The various room option. Food and bar options. Entertainment. Things that were difficult: navigating the property and sometimes encountering staff that only spoke Spanish (I’m not fluent), there was an obvious leak on the 4th floor of Secrets and mold smell, offer a map or tell guests about the Hyatt international app to try to help get around. Room service was great."
