"I arrived at Long Doo hostel mid morning on 13th January.
I had booked and paid for 11 nights 2 weeks prior to travelling.
I booked & paid for Mon nite cos i wanted to check straight in without having to wait till 3pm. I arrived to be told they had let my bed go. 😡😡 thought i wasn't going & without foning to check, just let it go. The very young girl 15/16 spoke little English, tried telling me it was because i hadn't paid. Which i had and showed her the confirmation email with receipt...

"Too expensive for what we got. They seem to have a problem with little flies in the room and the hallway. Some dead in the room and we’re not cleaned up from previous guests. The walls to the room were thin and you could hear people walking through the hallway to their room and you could hear the street noise."

"With a short walk to either beach or shared swimming pool there aren’t much else you’d want in a resting place like koh Lanta to ask for. There was although problems with locking the bathrooms. The hostel is close to food and stores but there’s not the best roads for a long walk to different parts of the island. All in all a good experience."
