"Our family stayed 2 nights at the Roche Harbor Resort while visiting the Pacific Northwest from New England. We wish we were able to stay longer! The location is picture-perfect and the resort is beautiful. Everything was clean, there are little artists' booths set up along the water, as well as a little grocery store and a little cafe, steps from our room. We enjoyed dinner on the water right at the resort, and coffee every morning from the little mobile cafe on the dock. The ONLY thing we missed was a gym for my son, but we drove into Friday Harbor and he was able to get a day pass at The REC which he said was great. Overall, we had a perfect stay here and would love to return one day!"
"The old inn is beautiful, and well maintained. There are places to sit outside that are private or more open. We happened to be there when breakfast was included, apparently a seasonal thing, and it was magnificent. The bike rentals were superb. The people , Anthony and Noah I believe, were extremely helpful when we had questions. The contactless checkin worked well, but I did have to call to verify how it worked as we were arriving late. It was simpler than I imagined. Our room no. 4 was fine for us. The mini fridge on the larger side with good ice was perfect to hold our accumulated food from traveling between rental houses with full kitchens. We were grateful. The room had a big fan running and window open when we arrived, with a smell like air freshener. This was not so pleasant but it did the trick of freshening up the air within a day. It was a hot period apparently for this area. No AC and with windows open, we worried about mosquitoes but there were not any. We liked the bathroom, bed super comfortable, good closet , coffee maker in room but no microwave which we did not care about. We would return again. Four star only because of the room smell issue. Great place, centrally located."
